1. Introduction

The Institute of Flight Control and Simulation (IFCS) was founded in 1995, focusing on the theory and engineering technology of the advanced flight control and simulation. At present, there are 16 full-time teachers working in IFCS, including 3 professors (2 of them are doctoral supervisor), 5 associate professors, 2 senior engineers and six instructors. The IFCS develops quickly as a benefit from the good scientific research environment, efficient talents training and laboratory construction in recent years. We work together with industry actively, and do a lot of creative research work. Some research achievements in the field of flight control and simulation technology reached the international leading level.

2. Disciplines

Main research domain of IFCS includes:

(1) Flight control technology;

(2) Flight simulation theory;

(3) Information countermeasure flight vehicle technology;

(4) Infrared countermeasure technology.

3. Research

The research projects of IFCS include: the National “863” projects, projects of Natural Science Foundation of China, national defense basic pre-research projects. At the same time, the IFCS also do some research work on the test devices of flight control and simulation system.

4. Laboratory

Supported by the Project 985 of the Ministry of Education, an experimental technical group for the aircraft basic research of the information counterwork has been established in IFCS. The equipments include flight simulation platform, the simulation system of vibration environment diversification, the simulation system of four-channel servo load and the test analysis platform of radiation characteristics of infrared object spectrum.
